Tupelo Cross Country Runs Saltillo Invitational

The Tupelo XC team competed in the Saltillo Invitational Meet Saturday morning, September 17th.

 

The middle school girls came in 1st as a team, along with the high school girls coming in 4th, while the high school boys placed 7th and the middle school boys finished 2nd overall.

 

Brookelyn Morgan won the high school girl’s race with a time of 19:08.

 

Middle schooler Carrie Ann Brown took first overall in the middle school girls race while Burton Potts was first for tupelo boys and third overall in middle school.

 

Harrison Wampler was the first high school boy to cross the finish line for Tupelo coming in 24th place overall with a time of 17:21.

 

Tupelo cross country’s next meet is the Tupelo Invitational on Saturday, September 24th.
