Graduation Requirements: What is required?
Graduation requirements are really important for graduating. If you don’t know the requirements or have enough credits to graduate, it might be a setback for you to graduate on time.
Many administrators on the Tupelo High School campus were interviewed about graduation requirements here at THS.
Tyler Philly one of the 12th-grade counselors at Tupelo High School states “The state of Mississippi requires 24 credits for a traditional high school diploma.” That’s why it’s important to talk to administrators about how many credits you have so that you have enough credits to graduate.
Graduation requirements are very important for you to know.
Tyler Philly also states “ You should start thinking about early graduation at the beginning of your junior year and also if you are planning on graduating in December of your senior year you can make a request and get applications when we do course selections in the spring.”
Although many people want to graduate early and many do not.
Tameka White Tupelo High School test coordinator states “Standardized tests for the state of Mississippi that must be passed to graduate are algebra 1 assessment, biology 1 assessment, English 2 assessment, US history assessment, also state-required ACT for juniors.”
