Teen pregnancy is a topic that’s talked about a lot, especially in high school, and a lot of people feel passionate about it. Some people think it’s wrong and irresponsible of not only the kid but also the parent because they should be watching their kid, but some people understand it.
I think you don’t have to support teen pregnancy, but you should support the teens who end up getting pregnant. I believe that teens shouldn’t have kids because it may be overwhelming for them trying to take care of a kid while they’re in school. Still, if it has already happened, you shouldn’t be mad or judgmental and try to be more understanding of why they did it and support their choice of whether they want to keep it or not.
I think most of the time, being a pregnant teen isn’t what teenagers imagine; sometimes, they just lack safety knowledge.
I think schools should do a better job teaching about pregnancy, protection, and the consequences of not being safe. Some girls are not taught these things at home, so school may be the only place they can learn them.
Teenagers who are pregnant need more support instead of judgment. Most of them are already going through a hard situation, making them feel worse. It’s important to remember that people make mistakes, especially while they’re young.
