Tupelo High School’s prom was an unforgettable event filled with excitement and joy, as students dressed to impress and celebrated their hard work throughout the year. The atmosphere was electric, with laughter, music, and dancing as friends and classmates created lasting memories.
However, the night stalled when a storm began to brew outside. Despite hiding in the dome, the spirit of the evening remained strong as students continued to enjoy the celebration, determined not to let the storm dampen their spirits.
“I would rate prom a 9/10,” Amedei Ratliff said.
Although parts of the prom were stressful, it was still the time of our lives.
“The weather showed off, but we still had fun,” Eli Robinson said.
Students spent an arm and a leg on this beautiful night.
“We spent about $1,200 with watch and dresses included,” Robinson said.
Prom at THS was the best event that happened, according to the class of 2025. They also gave out advice for incoming seniors and juniors.
“Just have fun and don’t spend a lot of money. You can save and use that for something later in life,” Kam Pointer said.
This prom was the definition of ‘get back up and try again’. Tupelo will always find fun–no matter rain, thunder, sleet or snow, or even tornadoes!
