School bathrooms are set for a major transformation over the summer break.

 After years of having the same bathrooms, Tupelo High School is finally getting them remodeled! How do you think the students feel about it?

Even though THS bathrooms are still very functional, they are set for a summer upgrade, hoping to improve the facilities. I’ve spoken with students to see their reactions and what they may expect for the upcoming bathroom makeover.

“I’m ready for the bathroom renovations, but I do think everyone needs to do a better job at keeping it clean this time and vandalizing, Christian Thompson said.

With that being said, maintaining a clean environment is extremely important for every student, and it shows that it is a collective responsibility to keep the new renovations clean.

“I actually don’t think new bathrooms are necessary, they are still in good shape, just need to be taken care of,” Kaleigh Brand said. Brand acknowledges that the bathrooms need to be kept up, which steers the focus of students to do better with keeping up with the cleanliness of the bathroom.

 “Getting new bathrooms is a great idea because they are dirty and people keep on writing on the walls” Monica Hersey said. In conclusion, the current state of the bathrooms needs immediate action, and there needs to be a stop to vandalism in the bathrooms.
