“What are you involved in outside of school?” is a question most, if not all, students commonly get asked. For most, the answer is “sports” or “ gaming’ but for me it’s different. I’ve recently found myself having nothing to do lately. Instead of getting a job or picking up a certain sport, I decided to become a teenager to the fullest and start a band with my friends called “NO LABEL”. Starting a band is harder than it may seem for most. So far, I have a piano player, two singers, a drummer, a bass player who has no idea how to play bass, and I play guitar. While this may seem fun. It’s quite the opposite, extremely stressful. We all have different responsibilities such as setting up equipment, sound checking, social media management, gear preparation, and the simple task of getting along. Although we may have many hardships and hard times with this, it’s most definitely worth the struggle. I highly recommend that everyone should be doing something fun and productive this summer, even if it’s the smallest little thing, such as starting a band with your friends.
