What – Tupelo High helps to raise money for the Salvation Army. The money goes to Salvation Army Angels that have not yet been adopted. Angels are needy children that community members can anonymously adopt to expand Christmas gifts and to help less fortunate.

Who- Mrs. Garner and her art students and other teacher volunteers are outside the front and back of campus before and after school to collect money for this program.

They said- The purpose is “To raise money for the salvation army angle tree, the money is given to angles that have not been adopted.” Anna Garner said. All the money raised will go to unadopted angles on the tree to ensure they have a great Christmas.

Up Next-  Students, faculty and community members are encouraged to bring their change to one of the iconic Salvation Army buckets on campus.
