Tupelo Men’s Soccer played division and longtime rivals, Oxford Chargers Tuesday, December 14, with an ending result of 2-1 with the win going to Tupelo.

Tupelo started off the first half pretty slow coming out of the first half with a tied score.

They came out the second half strong with the first goal by West Hill as he finished a top corner and the second coming from Tim Elders as he converted a penalty.

The Wave moved to 9-2 on the season as they look to continue division play Thursday against Starkville at 7.

Avery Hooker was their only goal last night as she slotted it in the corner on a breakaway.

Lady Wave’s record moves to 8-2 as they also look forward to remaining undefeated in Division play as they play Starkville this Thursday at 5.
