XC Dominates at TCPS Twilight
The Tupelo XC team competed in the TCPS Twilight Meet Thursday night, September 1st.
The high school girls came in 1st as a team, along with both middle school teams, while the high school boys placed 2nd.
Brookelyn Morgan won the high school girl’s race with a time of 20:18.
Middle schoolers Burton Potts, and Carrie Ann Brown also took first in their respective races.
Harrison Wampler was the first high school boy to cross the line for Tupelo coming in 7th place with a time of 18:29.
Tupelo cross country’s next meet is the Saltillo Invitational on Saturday, September 17th.
