On October 21, 2022, 17 of Tupelo’s swimmers competed at the 2022 MHSAA Championship located at the Tupelo Aquatic Center.

Captain Mary Lawson Lesley won the title of the 2022 State Champion in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Breaststroke.

Junior Brooks Johnson also received the title of the 2022 State Champion in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Butterfly.

Closing out the swim season, the girl’s team won runner-up at the meet and the boy’s team places 4th overall.
