Baseball Q&A with Carson Foster

Speaker 1 (Arianna Shaw): How long have you been playing baseball?

Speaker 2 (Carson Foster): Since I was nine?

Speaker 1: Has it always been your passion?

Speaker 2: Not really. I started playing baseball for my whole life and started taking it seriously when I got to like ninth grade.

Speaker 1: Do you have any offers? Are you looking at any particular schools?

Speaker 2: Yes, I have offers and I’m committed to Jason State University.

Speaker 1: How do you stay motivated to be good at your sport?

Speaker 2: You have to keep the same mindset throughout it. And you really just can’t give up because your spot can be taken away.

Speaker 1: How do you feel about this being your senior year on the Tupelo Baseball team? Is it surreal?

Speaker 2: It’s sad that the old seniors are not here anymore. Now they expect way more out of me. So now I have to fulfill those shoes.

Speaker 1: What are your hopes for this season’s baseball team?

Speaker 2: I just hope that we have a great season, And you know what I’m saying, make sure it’s deep. Is there

Speaker 1: Anything else you’d like to add?

Speaker 2: Go Wave.
