With the devastation of the tornado that struck Amory Mississippi, class 23-24 doesn’t have a field to play on.
Tupelo High School has allowed Amory to play on the blue lagoon on Thursdays for their home games. With Tupelo High School’s caring hearts, sharing their field with the Amory Panthers is a great and understanding thing.
Not only did Tupelo Golden Wave express their caring hearts by sharing their field they also put up Amory’s flags in downtown Tupelo before Amory’s first time playing on the blue lagoon.
Amory High School took the win against Saltillo Tigers with an ending score of 51-19.
Amory High School will play on the Renasant field again on September 28, 2023 against Tishomingo county.
Tupelo High School helped Amory and showed that both teams are good on and off the field.
