TPSD schools will have a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Friday, March 6.
Students and staff alike weren’t thrilled with the idea of possibly making up school on Saturday, March 21.
“@gearlloden @tupelohigh y’all are outta your minds if you think I’m coming to school on a Saturday,” junior Maggie Houin tweeted Thursday morning.
Ahead of Thursday afternoon’s announcement, THS girls soccer coach Hannah Kimbrough was glad for a bit of sunshine.
“Thank you sun. I have never been more excited to see you,” Kimbrough tweeted, adding the hashtag nosaturdayschool.
Sports information director Braden Bishop may have said it best in the following tweet:
“Whew… that was a close one, y’all. Saturday, March 21 is already loaded with archery, baseball, and Prom 2015. Thank the heavens above.”
Here’s the bell schedule for Friday’s two-hour delay:
1st block: 9:45-10:30
2nd block: 10:35-11:25
3rd block: 11:30-1:40
4th block: 1:45-3:20
