At the heart of Tupelo, the local bowling alley stands as a testament to the timeless sport that has rolled through generations. From the casual players who come for the bright shoes and fizzy sodas to the serious league competitors with their personalized gear and laser-focused gazes, bowling is more than a game—it’s a slice of Americana that continues to evolve. Joiyah Blackmon sat down with Kenny Chambers to talk about his bowling experience. 

“Plan is to win state next year. That’s the plan,” said Chambers

It shows their strong determination and focus on achieving a specific goal, which is winning the state championship in the coming year. This highlights his ambitions and sets the stage for their journey towards success. 

“Probably at regionals, when I hit that 232 in bowling, that was really fun,”  Chambers recalled
