Powderpuff: Fright Night breakdown

Powderpuff%3A+Fright+Night+breakdown

When thinking of football you would never imagine girls playing it.

At Tupelo high school we participate in the game powder puff. One team took the final win against all the other teams.

Fright Night was the team that took it all.

One of the star players was Jameyah Hubbard. When asked how she played a part in leading the team to victory she said “It was a team effort, we played well and I’m just glad we won.”

Playing football you would always think the boys are involved which they were, they just participated as the coaches.

The steps that it takes to prepare even for powderpuff were challenging “we had a lot of practice and were forced to run if we didn’t learn the plays” Hubbard said.

When you win with a team you wouldn’t want to replace that team so quickly “I would definitely keep the same team next year and hopefully we get the win again.” Hubbard said excitedly.

Many athletes playing sports don’t always like or appreciate the rules of the game “ I would add the option to kick field goals”, Hubbard stated. Signifying she wouldn’t want to change anything just add a few more exciting components to the game.

Hubbard had a few remarks during the game that showed whoever won she was just having fun. Hubbard also stated, “Even though Fright Night took the win, we’re still prepared to come even harder next year.”
