Florence Welch and her band have officially released their sixth studio album, Everybody Scream, on Halloween. Since the release of their debut album, Lungs, in 2009, they have consistently produced outstanding albums.

And now Everybody Scream
If you haven’t heard of Florence + the Machine, I recommend listening to Everybody Scream. They’re an English alternative band whose music really does defy a specific genre. She’s also worked with popular artists such as Taylor Swift and Mitski, and many more.
Their newest album, which they released on October 31, 2025, easily gets a 4.5/5 from me. From the instruments to the vocals, it really shows their growth from Lungs. Songs like “Sympathy Magic” and “Buckle” show how great a writer Welch is while staying relatable. Certain songs are slower than I’d like, but out of the 12 songs, I only felt that way for one.
What also makes the album so great is the history behind it. After she experienced an ectopic pregnancy and the life-saving surgery she underwent, she started to write Everybody Scream, which explores so much depth about death, power, and vulnerability.
So if you ask me, I’d say go on any listening device and whatever you use to listen to music, go stream Everybody Scream.
