Friday night was the last game for the Golden Wave before the play-offs. The wave won with a score of 36-7 giving them an 11-0 winning streak and making them best in the state. This will make the 4th undefeated regular season in Tupelo history. Tupelo will host the play-off game on November 11 against Northwest Rankin. Friday was also senior night for the football team. This is a time when the school recognizes and honors its senior football players. The seniors lined up on the field and were each recognized and then greeted and congratulated by friends and family.
