Purpose of club: As members of the Sigma Nu Gamma Chapter of the National English Honor Society, We believe in the power of words and will use them responsibly-both verbal and written communication. We are committed to the service of each other, to our school, and to our community, especially in the area of literacy. We will walk in integrity. Duty goes with honor.

Weekly/Monthly Activities: We have monthly and weekly observances. Students have opportunities to promote literacy every day.

Special Activities:  Tupelo reads Program and the End-Of-Year-Bash (Spring)

Membership requirements:  An A in english and 3.75 (or higher) GPA

When can students join this club:  Sophomore Year
