Seventeen recognized for perfect state test scores.
At the last regular season home football game, seventeen Tupelo High School students were recognized for their perfect scores on the English II, Algebra I, Biology, and U.S. History state tests during the 2018-2019 school year.
Junior Emily Cannon gave credit to her English II teacher, Mrs. Sandroni, who prepared her to excel on the English state test.
“I was surprised to make a perfect score, but I know that I had a good teacher who worked hard to make sure I knew what I needed. After all that she [did], I had to put my best effort into the work assigned to make that score,” Cannon said.
US History teacher, Mrs. Hendrix, expressed the elation she had for her students who made perfect scores on the state test.
“I was not surprised when I saw those scores because they are great students. I am very proud of them, and very excited for them,” Hendrix said.
